Team leader and managing director

January 2023 until December 2024 (option for extension)

Your tasks:

  • Building an agricultural business from scratch
  • Recruiting, training and management of staff
  • Planning, implementing and supervising field works
  • Sourcing and closely negotiating with dealers and suppliers
  • Sourcing and closely negotiating the procurement of production inputs, machinery, etc.
  • Planning, implementing and supervising construction works
  • Ensuring compliance with economic targets
  • Daily reporting to the IAK headquarters

Your profile:

  • At least 10 years of professional experience in running agribusinesses (not necessarily as CEO or managing director)
  • Good knowledge of and experience in large-scale agriculture
  • Willingness to relocate to the desired location
  • Willingness to do hands-on work
  • Excellent multicultural competence
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Knowledge of German and Portuguese (would be an asset, but is not mandatory)
