Study tour of Mongolian executives from the agricultural sector to Germany

The German-Mongolian Cooperation Project on Sustainable Agriculture (DMKNL) organised a study tour for executives from the Mongolian Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry (MELL) and the Mongolian National Crop Farmers Association (MNCFA) to Germany from Nov 19-26, 2022. The focus was on agricultural associations, structures of and services offered by agricultural consulting in Germany, and the marketing of crop products.

Argentine delegation on study tour in Germany on the topic of innovation policy

From Nov 21-25, 2022, an Argentine delegation travelled to Germany for the first expert information trip within the framework of the bilateral cooperation project "German-Argentine Dialogue for Sustainable Agricultural Innovations" (DAAIAS), which is funded by the BMEL and implemented by IAK Agrar Consulting. Representatives of the political and operational partner organisations of the project took part.

8th DCAW emphasises cooperation on food security

The 8th German-Chinese Agriculture Week (DCAW), which focused on addressing challenges to national and global food security, took place in Beijing from Nov 21-25, 2022. The flagship event of the German-Chinese Agricultural Centre (DCZ) has established itself as an important platform for bilateral exchange. The conference was broadcast online and reached well over 1,000 participants.

Save the Date: 8th German-Chinese Agricultural Week (DCAW) 2022

This year's DCAW, with the guiding theme of "Approaches to National and Global Food Security," will be held 21-25 Nov 2022, in Beijing and online. This time, the focus will be on addressing current and future challenges to national and global food security.

Phase 4 of DMKNL: signing of implementation agreement and first PSG meeting

On 24.10.2022, the GFA Consulting Group and the Mongolian Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry signed the implementation agreement of the 4th phase of the DMKNL in Ulaanbaatar. The first meeting of the project steering group was then held on 25.10.2022.
