APD Ukraine supports the agricultural policy exchange with the EU

"Potentials for sustainable agricultural and rural development in Ukraine in the context of European integration" – this is the focus of a high-level Ukrainian delegation to Brussels.

The delegation includes representatives of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, professional associations of the Ukrainian National Agrarian Forum (UNAF), the Union of Territorial Municipalities, the project team of the Agricultural Policy Dialogue (APD) Ukraine, as well as independent experts on EU integration and international agricultural trade.

From Apr 11-14, 2023, topics such as the process of Ukraine's European integration and the adaptation of Ukrainian agricultural policy to EU regulations, agricultural trade policy and rural development policy will be discussed with the representatives of the relevant EU political institutions and specialised organisations in Brussels, and possible approaches for further cooperation will be identified.

Stations are COPA-COGECA (the Brussels-based federation of European umbrella organisations of farmers COPA and agricultural cooperatives COGECA), IFOAM Organics Europe (the European umbrella organisation for organic food and farming), the EU Parliament and the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC).
