Minister Özdemir talks to our experts in Ukraine

On Jun 10, 2022, Cem Özdemir, Federal Minister of Food and Agriculture, visited Ukraine. Here he can be seen talking with Vitaliy Storozhuk, our expert on forest inventories in the BMEL project "Technical support for the development of forest policy and implementation of the National Forest Inventory (SFI)". Vitaliy reported that the SFI premises were almost completely destroyed by Russian attacks, but the project continues its work despite all odds. Federal Minister Özdemir, who was also accompanied during his visit by Mariya Yaroshko, our interim team leader at APD Ukraine, appreciated the work of APD as an important contribution to the maintenance and further development of the agricultural policy dialogue between Germany and Ukraine and assured the continued support of the BKP projects in Ukraine.
