IAK-internal BKP project meeting in Leipzig: Thinking ahead together on international cooperation
The annual internal IAK meeting, held between the teams of projects implemented by IAK Agrar Consulting GmbH as part of the Bilateral Cooperation Program (BKP) of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Regional Identity (BMLEH), and colleagues from IAK in Leipzig, is an integral part of the joint professional exchange.
In 2026, the two-day meeting (Jan 12/13, 2026) once again provided an opportunity for intensive discussions, joint reflection, and the strategic development of international cooperation.
The agenda included, e.g., innovations from ongoing projects, new dialogue formats, public relations issues, and administrative processes. The aim was to strengthen synergies between the projects, learn from each other, and further develop joint approaches. The focus was also on current topics in international cooperation and a shared view of the challenges ahead.
A particular added value of the meeting was the personal exchange. In addition to expert discussions, the joy of meeting in person again after predominantly digital cooperation was also at the forefront. The meeting once again highlighted the combined international expertise of the IAK projects.
We would like to thank all participants for their commitment, their expert contributions, and the open exchange of ideas. We were delighted to welcome our project colleagues back to Leipzig in person.
