New collaborative project “LAND.VISION – AgrarJob Pilot” launched to secure a skilled workforce in agriculture
IAK Agrar Consulting GmbH, together with its partners, has launched the research and innovation project “WIR! – LAND.VISION – AgrarJob-Pilot.” The project focuses on new approaches to securing a skilled workforce in agriculture, as well as the development of practical learning, training, and integration programs for farms in Saxony, Thuringia, and Saxony-Anhalt.
The project is primarily aimed at young people without a school-leaving certificate as well as individuals with a migrant background, and combines agricultural expertise with digital and multilingual educational approaches. The goal is to support agricultural businesses in the sustainable recruitment and integration of new workers while simultaneously strengthening regional value creation and future viability.
In subproject TP2, “AgrarJob Pilot – Needs and Competencies,” IAK is primarily responsible for analyzing operational needs and competency requirements, as well as developing practical learning and support programs for the agricultural sector.
The joint project is being carried out under the leadership of Maschinen- und Betriebshilfsring Westerzgebirge e.V. in collaboration with IAK Agrar Consulting GmbH, the Institute for Applied Informatics e.V. (InfAI), and WeTeK Berlin gGmbH.
