The Afghan Ministry of Agriculture and the EU are engaged in a handover process that will change the modalities of EU support in agriculture to ultimately strengthen MAIL's autonomy and capacity to provide public extension services. During the originally planned transition period from 2013 to 2015, all public advisory services still offered through the EU agricultural programs were to be transferred to MAIL and integrated into its structures. IAK Agrar Consulting GmbH supports this transition and integration process together with the consortium partners.
