The aim of the project is to give German and Brazilian decision-makers and specialists and managers from the respective agricultural sectors a better understanding of the framework conditions and processes in the other country. APD will select five agricultural value chains to be made more efficient and sustainable. It will also introduce modern methods of agricultural financing and support bioeconomy networks between the two countries.
The overall goal is to reduce deforestation pressure. APD cooperates with the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture as well as with organizations from civil society, industry and science.
The project implementer is IAK Agrar Consulting GmbH.
