Introduction of dry chicken manure as organic fertilizer with adaptation of storage capacities on a mixed farm in Georgia

The aim was to enable the use of dry chicken manure as an organic fertilizer on a mixed agricultural operation in Georgia to optimize nutrient cycles and reduce dependence on external fertilizers.

As part of this project, IAK Agrar Consulting GmbH took on the technical and organizational planning for the use of dry chicken manure in plant production. The existing storage capacities were reviewed and adjusted where necessary to ensure proper interim storage and application in line with demand.

The measure has contributed to sustainable nutrient management and strengthened the internal material cycles.
