Technical dialogue on agricultural finance issues of land management in South Africa
The project supports the Land Bank and other South African institutions in the exchange of expertise on issues of agricultural finance and agricultural land management. Relevant international examples are presented and options for action and recommendations for South Africa are jointly developed. The partners gain insights into the transformation experiences of agriculture in Eastern Germany as well as in Central and Eastern Europe in seminars and on expert information trips. At the same time, inter-institutional exchange with land management actors is promoted and further technical training is offered. The institutions are thus enabled to implement coordinated technical measures to improve agricultural land management.
