Tropical forest expert (specialising in mangroves) for the implementation of a feasibility study (m/f/d)
We are an independent, agriculturally orientated consulting company. We have been working for public and private clients in Germany and abroad since 1981. In the field of international development cooperation, we have specialised in the promotion of sustainable agriculture and food security. We plan, implement and evaluate projects in various countries in Africa, Eastern Europe, Asia and Latin America on behalf of public and private clients.
To strengthen our team, we are now looking for a tropical forest expert (specialising in mangroves) to carry out a feasibility study (m/f/d).
Assignment period: May to August 2024 (intermittent)
Your profile:
- University education in the field of tropical agriculture, preferably with a specialisation in mangrove forests
- At least 5 years of professional experience in mangrove conservation and/or reforestation
- Very good knowledge of English
- Good knowledge of German
- Knowledge of Vietnamese and/or Thai is an advantage
