Digital documentation in crop production – easier documentation, recognise effort and reserve

The focus was on the practical examination of three machine data documentation systems and their linkage with other agricultural software applications (apps and documentation software). The focus was on the system application, what benefits the individual solutions offer and what costs are incurred by the agricultural business through their use.

IAK Agrar Consulting GmbH worked on the project together with the TU Dresden, Chair of Agricultural Systems Engineering. IAK was given the task of creating evaluations based on the digitally recorded field-specific measures and using them to carry out analyses to support decision-making.

The investigations took place on three farms that had introduced or were planning to introduce systems available on the market.
