The software development Land Management Toolbox (LMT) is a joint product of the companies Dr. Schindler Geo Consult International GmbH & Co. KG and IAK Agrar Consulting GmbH from Leipzig.
LMT is a plugin for the widely used free geoinformation system Quantum GIS. It includes tools to efficiently perform cadastral, agricultural administration, land tax administration and land use planning tasks. The target group is developing countries whose rural cadastral systems are just being established and who need simple applications. Thus, the handling of geodata in decentralized administration is made possible in the first place. The tools included are universally applicable, but can be adapted to specific requirements.
