Project for the improvement of vocational training and integration in the labor market in the agricultural and mining sectors (PAFISAM)

The aim of the project is to provide qualified professionals for the high-growth sectors of mining and agriculture (crop production, animal husbandry, fisheries) in Guinea. In particular, it aims to accompany the Ministry of Vocational Training in the management, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of its policies and operational strategies, to strengthen and improve the provision of technical and vocational training in the mining and agriculture sectors, and to promote the employability of graduates. To achieve this, existing curricula of 18 selected courses (e.g. farm manager and agricultural advisor) will be adapted according to the competency-based approach, training will be provided to the staff of public institutions and training centers, and materials will be procured for the training centers.
