The aim of the project is to strengthen sustainable food security, the socio-economic situation of marginalised and vulnerable groups as well as biodiversity and climate protection in Colombia. Innovative agroecological approaches are tested and validated in the context of participatory developed and implemented demonstration and trial projects with regard to their impact on food security and the socio-economic situation of marginalised groups as well as their impact on biodiversity and climate. The results of the agroecological demonstration and trial projects are incorporated into agricultural advisory services and the training of advisors and contribute to the further development of the agricultural advisory system. The framework conditions and knowledge networks for the dissemination of innovative agroecological approaches are to be improved and developed.

The programme is implemented by GOPA AFC GmbH as the lead partner in a consortium with IAK Agrar Consulting GmbH.
