Survey of the production-technical basis in cattle farms in Saxony

The aim of the online survey is to create an anonymized database that makes it possible to compare current husbandry conditions with husbandry standards (e.g. husbandry type), animal-friendly husbandry systems and the possibilities for adaptation to climate change. The results will be incorporated into the design of the new funding period starting in 2023.

The following production methods will be considered:

• Milk production
• Calf rearing
• Young cattle rearing
• Cattle fattening
• Suckler cow husbandry

IAK Agrar Consulting GmbH has developed an online questionnaire, which asks about the production-technical conditions with regard to the locations for cattle husbandry, feed and farm manure storage as well as barn buildings. If required, we would be pleased to support the participating farms in processing the survey.
